WASHINGTON — A Houston bank has agreed to submit a plan to the Federal Reserve that would strengthen oversight of its operations.

The Fed on Thursday released the agreement with Tradition Bancshares, which owns Tradition Bank.

Under the agreement, the plan will consider actions to improve the bank's condition. It also will include actions to maintain supervision of operations such as loan underwriting, credit administration and earnings.
