The Michigan Names Executive

The Michigan Bankers Association, Mackinac Island, has elected Robert E. Picking to a one-year term as president.

Mr. Picking is the president and chief executive of Hastings City Bank. In the trade group post he succeeded Norman F. Rodgers, president and chief executive officer of Hillsdale County National Bank.

The group also elected William R. Cole, executive vice president/commercial banking for First of America Bank Corp., Kalamazoo, as first vice president; and Arthur C. Johnson, president and CEO of United Bank of Michigan, Grand Rapids, as second vice president.

Elected treasurer was Randall G. Fox, who is chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Oxford Bank.
