Tio Networks Corp. announced Monday that it will offer walk-in expedited bill payment at certain retail stores in metropolitan Atlanta so customers can pay bills from Georgia Power Co.
Tio, of Burnaby, British Columbia, said its kiosks will be operational this winter, letting Georgia Power customers use cash to make payments using Tio's bill-payment processing system.
Customers will use a touchscreen interface with instructions in English or Spanish, Tio said, and payments will be posted immediately to customers' accounts, with a $2 "convenience fee" per transaction.
