VeriFone Systems Inc. said it is supplying a Turkish gasoline retailer with unattended pay-at-the-pump terminals.
The San Jose, Calif., company said Wednesday it would provide the terminals to Petline Petroleum Inc., though it did not say how many devices the vendor ordered or how much it is paying.
"Petline's decision to deploy automated payment systems at self-service fuel dispensers represents VeriFone's continued efforts to bring new card payment capabilities to unexploited market segments," Soner Caur, the vice president and general manager of VeriFone in Southeast Europe, said in a press release.
