Univest Executive Resigns to Lead Nonprofit Everence Financial

Univest Corp. of Pennsylvania (UVSP) in Souderton said its president of wealth management is leaving to lead a nonprofit financial services firm whose operations include a credit union.

The $2.2 billion-asset Univest said in a regulatory filing Friday that Kenneth Hochstetler will become president and chief executive of Everence, a Goshen, Ind., firm affiliated with the Mennonite Church. Everence offers banking services through its Everence Federal Credit Union, which has two branches in Goshen. Kent Hartzler will remain president and CEO of the credit union.

Everence also offers insurance, wealth management and other financial services.

Hochstetler's resignation from Univest is effective July 18. Univest has 31 branches and 12 retirement planning offices in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
