Valley National Bank in Wayne, N.J., has promoted two executives.

The $19.5 billion-asset company said Monday that it had promoted Andrea Onorato to administrative chief from director of retail operations.

Onorato succeeds Robert Mulligan, who will retire at the end of April.

Dianne Grenz will replace Onorato as director of retail operations and take on the additional role of director of marketing. She was previously director of sales. In her new role she will head sales, retail banking, customer service, public relations, shareholder relations, wealth management and marketing.

Valley National's 227 branches are in New Jersey, New York City and Long Island, and Florida.
