Wells Fargo & Co. has bolstered its mergers and acquisitions group with the hiring of two new managing directors.
Adam Berger is leading healthcare M&A, and Bora Sila is head of consumer and retail M&A, Wells Fargo said in a press release. Both are based in New York and report to John Laughlin, head of M&A at Wells Fargo Securities.
With more than 22 years of experience as an M&A banker, Berger has worked on 140 announced transactions worth almost $400 billion. He joined Wells Fargo from Leerink Swann, a healthcare-focused investment banking firm.
Sila, a 20-year veteran of consumer and retail M&A, was head of Americas retail investment banking at UBS.
