ACT Canada taps Ingenico exec to co-chair its board

ACT Canada has named Suzan Denoncourt, the country's managing director at Ingenico Group, to be co-chair of its board.

Denoncourt will help lead ACT Canada’s board of directors, overseeing the association’s activities. ACT Canada's initiatives include drive development of payments technology and security and collaboration among its members, which include payment card issuers, network brands, acquirers, merchants, regulators and other industry participants, Ontario, Canada-based ACT Canada said in a Nov. 8 press release.

“The payments industry is complex and evolving at a rapid pace,” Denoncourt said in the release. “Businesses face ongoing challenges in trying to adapt, while leveraging the myriad of opportunities to gain a competitive advantage.”

Denoncourt joined the terminal maker Ingenico in 2005. ACT Canada is a the nonprofit payments.
