Alliance Data Systems Corp. has signed a new long-term agreement to issue private-label credit cards on behalf of women’s clothing retailer Christopher & Banks Inc., the issuer announced Oct. 27.
Under the agreement, Alliance Data will provide Christopher & Banks and CJ Banks division with such support as receivables funding, card authorization, credit card issuance, statement generation, remittance processing and customer service. Alliance Data also will handle account acquisition, activation and retention strategies.
Alliance Data said that it will provide credit card accountholders with benefits designed to support repeat purchases and strengthen loyalty by using the company’s existing rewards program.
