The Alviere finance platform has entered a partnership with B2B fintech Currencycloud to offer its clients a multicurrency e-wallet for cross-border business payments.
Based on the functions of Currencycloud's Spark, the wallet handles individual IBANs that allows customers to pay, hold, convert and collect in as many as 38 currencies simultaneously.
Currencycloud Spark has already been incorporated into Alviere's Hive solution, a modular API technology that allows large corporate clients the ability to embed financial services into their businesses in order to provide them to customers.
“There was an immediate synergy between us and Alviere — their customer-focused approach to delivery mirrors ours and it felt like a perfect match from the start," David Heitzman, vice president of sales and general manager of North America at Currencycloud, said in a Thursday press release.
"That we both see embedded finance as the next big step for business is fantastic and we are thrilled to support Alviere in delivering that for its clients,” Heitzman added.
New York-based Alviere and London-based Currencycloud view the combination of their technologies as a way to increase capabilities and potential for new business, especially for those looking to expand globally.
“There is a real demand from our customers for cross-border functionality and it’s a strategic component of our growth," Steven Scofelia, Alviere’s chief of staff, said in the release. "We are excited to launch our partnership with Currencycloud to offer a combined solution to existing and new Alviere clients.”
