Matt Swann, who was in charge of Amazon Register and the defunct Amazon Wallet, has left Amazon.com for a role at Citigroup, according to a report by
Amazon shut down its
Swann joined Citi in February as technology head of Global Cards and Payments, according to a Citi spokesperson. Swann first joined Amazon in 1999 as a director, according to his LinkedIn profile. He was also a director at Citadel Investment Group between 2004 and 2006, and was named vice president and general manager of payments at Amazon.com in 2006.
Amazon did not respond to a request for comment.
