RoyalBank has added Compass Plus’ TranzWare service to support the launch of an in-house transaction-processing center at the bank, the retail banking software provider announced Jan. 25.
The system will enable Azerbaijan-based RoyalBank to expand its card business, reduce transaction operation costs and cut how long it takes cards to hit the market, Russia-based Compass Plus said in a Jan. 25 news release.
RoyalBank customers now will have access to traditional debit and credit cards and to customized cobranded and loyalty cards developed specifically for the Azerbaijan market, Compass Plus said.
The processing system also includes TranzWare Fraud Analyzer and will enable consumers to settle payments and manage their finances both online and with mobile devices.
The bank has certified its in-house processing system with Visa Inc. and is in the final phase of certification with MasterCard Worldwide, China UnionPay and JCB International Credit Card Co. Ltd.
