Customers of Banco Popular N.A. now may access some 33,000 ATMs fee-free under an agreement with Cardtronics Inc.’s Allpoint surcharge-free ATM network, the Rosemont, Ill.-based bank announced earlier this month.
Consumers may find the nearest Allpoint ATM location either online or through a mobile application that works with Apple Inc.’s iPhone, Research In Motion Ltd.’s Blackberry and Google Inc.’s Android, according to the bank, which deploys 4,600 ATMs in California, 4,200 in New York and New Jersey, 800 in Illinois and more than 3,000 in Florida.
