Bankers’ Bank, a correspondent bank that serves nearly 700 Midwest community banks, on April 15 announced it has signed a five-year agreement to offer its customers access to First Data Corp.’s Star electronic funds transfer network.
Banker’s Bank will offer Star ATM and debit card processing to member banks in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Iowa, Barb Gross, the organization’s first vice president of bankcards, tells PaymentsSource. This is the first time the Madison, Wis.-based company has offered the service, and Gross declined to disclose financial details.
