BillPro invests in Netherlands’ Dimebox to access European market

Amsterdam-based Dimebox, a fintech that provides white-label payment gateway solutions for global merchants, has received a €5 million (US$4.7 million) cash infusion BillPro Group, an international payment services provider with headquarters in Australia.

The investment will enable Dimebox to expand the company and extend the capabilities of its platform, Dimebox said in a March 3 press release.

“Our platform, built in-house, offers a variety of modules that can be leveraged independently as well as in a full-stack acquiring solution—modules that are otherwise offered by different suppliers,” said Raymundo Leefmans, Dimebox’s co-founder and CEO, in the release.

The partnership with Dimebox will enable BillPro to expand in Europe, added BillPro’s CEO Daria Rippingale. Cross-border payments is expanding as blockchain and other emerging technology create fertile ground for payment companies.
