BMI Bank, an affiliate of BankMuscat, has completed its project to switch all of its customers' ATM cards to Visa Electron debit cards, the Bahrain-based bank announced this week. The cards support EMV chip-and-PIN transactions in Bahrain and abroad, the bank says in a statement. BMI is encouraging customers who have not already done so to collect their new cards at their local branches. The bank says it also has converted all of its credit cards to chip-and-PIN cards.
