BofA Reports Year-To-Year Increase In ATMs

Bank of America, owner and operator of the nation's largest bank-owned ATM network, today reported a slight increase in ATMs during the first quarter ended March 31. In the three-month period, Charlotte, N.C.-based BofA owned and operated 18,532 ATMs compared with 18,491 ATMs in the first quarter of 2008. However, The number of ATMs that BofA owned and operated in the first quarter fell below 18,584 machines the bank owned and operated in the fourth quarter of 2008.
