Chase Integrates Samsung Pay for Its Visa Cards

Chase Visa cards are now compatible with Samsung Pay, the smartphone maker's mobile payment system that combines magnetic secure transmission and Near Field Communication.

Starting Monday, Chase customers holding Visa credit, debit or Chase Liquid cards will be able to use one of four Samsung mobile devices to pay at most point of sale terminals.

The technology, which is available on the S6, S6  edge, S6 edge+ and Note 5 devices, allows users to process encrypted transactions with their phone, after fingerprint authentication.

Samsung Pay launched in September, with initial participation from Bank of America, Citi, American Express and U.S. Bank.
