Office Depot Inc. and Chase Card Services, a division of JPMorgan Chase & Co., have launched a promotion that requires no payments and charges no interest until January 2010 on single transactions of $499 or more from any Office Depot store in the United States or through the store's online shopping site. The promotion is for purchases made between Nov. 2 and Dec. 24 on Chase Worklife Rewards Visa credit cards. In a statement, Chase and Office Depot say they are offering the program to provide extra purchasing power for small-business owners weathering a difficult economic period. Cardholders must have adequate available credit and not be in default to qualify for the promotional financing, Chase says.
