ConServe in 2011 was selected to be one of four private collection agencies to assist the BFS in collecting non-tax debts owed to the federal government. The company has two production sites located in Rochester, N.Y. and Buffalo, N.Y., with headquarters located in Rochester.

"We are extremely proud to be recognized as the top performer for the evaluation period October 2013 – December 2013," said Mark Davitt, president of ConServe. "Our staff members are real time problem solvers, dedicated to helping find a solution that preserves a sense of control and individual self-esteem. In today’s economy, it’s imperative that we work with people who are currently delinquent on their obligations to help them regain control of their finances and assist them in achieving long term fiscal well being."

Conserve, founded in 1985, provides accounts receivable management services in the higher education, government and commercial markets.

ConServe was ranked as the #1 performing Small Business collection agency on the U.S. Department of Education’s student loan collection contract from 2004-2010. In 2009, ConServe was again awarded a long-term contract by the Department of Education.

ConServe also has achieved the ACA International Professional Practices Management System (PPMS) certification. Less than 1 percent of collection agencies nationwide have this certification, according to a ConServe news release.
