Seattle-based Doxo launched its doxoPAY e-billing site on Feb. 1. The site enables consumers to pay and manage their bills from multiple providers in one location (see story).

Bellevue, Wash.-based Puget Sound Energy customers may now receive, pay and file their energy bills via their doxoPAY account, Doxo said in a Feb. 16 news release. The utility company’s customers also no longer will receive a paper copy of their monthly bills.

In addition, Doxo announced the company has secured $10 million in financing from Boston-based Sigma Partners; Menlo Park, Calif.-based Mohr Davidow Ventures; and Bezos Expeditions, the investment fund of Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos.

The company plans to use the funds to support new product development, expand sales and marketing and hire new employees, Doxo said in the news release. Doxo also believes the funding will help encourage providers to participate in e-billing through doxoPAY.
