Harris comes to Dwolla with 20 years of experience in payments and fintech, most recently as president of Payscape. Milne will stay involved with Dwolla as a member of its board of directors.

Harris' experience in payments focuses much on "go-to-market" distribution and experience in scaling businesses, Dwolla noted.

Dwolla reports it currently supports more than $10 billion a year in gross payment volume. In the fourth quarter of 2019, the company added close to 1 million new end users to its platform.
Since 2017, Des Moines, Iowa-based Dwolla initially dabbled in mobile wallet payments for small businesses and a bank P2P offering. Eventually, the company began developing B2B faster payments rails through a white-label ACH fund transfer for banks and became involved in helping the Federal Reserve shape its faster payments strategies.
