Holders of the MasterCard-branded card earn 1.25% of the sale on all domestic and international retail purchases in the form of PlusPoints rewards, which they may redeem for shopping vouchers, frequent flyer miles and cash back, Emirates NBD noted in a press release.

Cardholders also receive unlimited complimentary lounge access at the Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Cairo and Kuwait airports and personal accident coverage up to US$155,000.

Other benefits include a 0% installment program and access to a culinary program that offers dining discounts up to 30% at more than 350 partner outlets, according to the release. Under the installment program, cardholders may pay for their large purchases over time in interest-free installments.

Emirates NBD plans to offer the Titanium card free for life for a limited time, but it did not disclose how much it would charge once the offer expires.

Representatives from Emirates NBD and MasterCard did not respond to requests for comment.
