Fleet fuel card provider FleetCor Technologies Inc. has acquired AllStar Business Solutions Ltd. from United Kingdom-based The Arval Group for US$304 million (£194 million or 229 million euros), the companies announced Dec. 13.
AllStar provides corporate fuel cards to about 1 million cardholders and 40,000 customers, which primarily are small and midsize UK enterprises, the company said in a press release.
In addition, Arval and FleetCor have entered into a strategic relationship in which Arval will provide fuel card payment services to its customers through AllStar.
Atlanta-based FleetCor says the acquisition is line with its plans for global growth through acquisitions.
