Former Netspend CEO Dan Henry to chair 3PEA board

Dan Henry, former CEO of Netspend, was elected chairman of the board at 3PEA International, a prepaid card program provider and processor.

Henry will help direct 3PEA’s expansion of its PaySign payment solutions used by corporations for incentives and rewards, according to a Monday press release from the Henderson, Nev.-based company.

“Dan brings unique strategic vision and a strong skill set to the role,” said Mark Newcomer, 3PEA’s CEO, in the release.

“This is an exciting time in the industry and 3PEA is well-positioned for further growth as we will continue to look for ways to transform, initiate solutions and product positive results,” Henry said in the release.

Henry was CEO of prepaid card marketer Netspend from 2008 to 2014. Prior to joining Netspend—which TSYS acquired in 2013—Henry was president and COO of Euronet Worldwide, which he co-founded.
