FreedomPay Hires Former Microsoft Exec to Head Business Development

FreedomPay has hired Rodney Bowen-Wright, a former Microsoft venture capital specialist, to be its chief business development officer.

Bowen-Wright will spearhead FreedomPay’s strategic relationship with Microsoft and its operating divisions. FreedomPay uses Microsoft’s SEEK platform to develop payments technology.

FreedomPay’s products include the Vibe mobile wallet, and an offers platform for banks and retailers.

Most recently, Bowen-Wright was responsible for Microsoft's cloud, enterprise and vertical markets portfolios globally. In this role, he drove Microsoft’s relationships with venture capital companies and incubated early and mid-stage businesses.
