Furnitureland South, a home-furnishings showplace based in Jamestown, N.C., has selected TD Retail Card Services to develop and administer its new private-label credit card, the retailer announced June 4.
Terms were not disclosed.
The new Furnitureland South credit card will offer consumers a six-month deferred-payment program and other special features. Under the agreement, the Mahwah, N.J-based business unit of TD Bank N.A. will direct all aspects of the card program.
“TD Retail Card Services was the first and only choice to administer our new private-label credit card, as their program supports our core retail philosophy and is dedicated to the concept of value and extraordinary customer service,” Ken Macdonald, Furnitureland South director of business development, said in a press release.
Founded in 1969, family-owned Furnitureland South operates a 300,000-square-foot outlet on its Jamestown campus in addition to a showroom that encompasses more than 1 million square feet.
