General Payment Systems will provide kiosk-based payment and tracking technology for probation needs through CSRA Probation Services, which serves about 60 state courts in Georgia.
The deal is General Payment Systems first in the probation market.
Probationers will be able to complete the required monthly check-ins and make payments using thermal fingerprint biometric technology. The CSRA and Georgia Corrections Corp. say the biometric system will make complying with probation terms easier.
