Germany's Wirecard Signs Processing Deal With U.S. Firm

Germany-based electronics payments and card company Wirecard AG will provide processing and acquiring services in Europe for United States-based Symmetric Systems LLC, a Symmetric official tells CardLine Global. Symmetric offers debit and credit card processing and related services through its VitalPay platform. The deal between the two companies "covers a substantial number [of transactions] for several large enterprise clients" in the European Union, says Matt Jackson, Symmetric president. Jackson says the deal is "open-ended" but likely would run for at least three years.
