Heartland, AJB in Deal to Offer Payments Security Services

Heartland Payment Systems has partnered with AJB Software Design to offer security-related technology and services.

The two companies will jointly sell merchant services designed to ease compliance with security mandates and EMV-chip card migration. They will also provide other payments and interchange management technology from Heartland.

The combined technology is designed for big box, general merchandise, grocery, petroleum and convenience store merchants.

Heartland has also partnered with point of sale terminal manufacturer Ingenico to support EMV compliance. In that partnership, Heartland integrated its E3 encryption technology with Ingenico's terminals to provide security for both magnetic stripe and EMV transactions.
