InComm has integrated Walmart's prepaid reload capabilities with Visa's ReadyLink card management system.
The integration enables Visa prepaid card users to add funds to their cards at Walmart locations.
"As more consumers adopt [general purpose reloadable] cards for everyday use, whether as a bank alternative or a budgeting tool, InComm will continue to invest in technologies, retailers and partner programs to deliver convenience, efficiency and secure shopping experiences," InComm's vice president and general manager of financial services Jeff Lewis said in a March 12 press release.
"Visa ReadyLink is pleased to join forces with Walmart to offer millions of prepaid consumers a convenient, low-cost alternative to load funds to their accounts," Visa's head of U.S. prepaid products Cecilia Frew, said in the same release.
