Indian Processor Opens First U.S. Office

ElectraCard Services Pvt. Ltd., a payment processor based in India, is opening its first U.S. office in Omaha, Neb., the unit of Opus Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. announced Jan. 24.

ElectraCard plans to open two other international offices this year. Dale Van Stratten, a veteran of ACI Worldwide Inc. and First Data Corp., will lead the company’s Americas office.

Ramesh Mengawade, CEO of Opus and ElectraCard, said in a release that ElectraCard has served financial institutions for more than seven years and that it “will soon build a strong foothold in the U.S. and Americas market.”
