Punjab National Bank hopes to attract 200,000 credit cardholders by March, up from about 30,000 now, in part through the introduction of a platinum card and a corporate card, "perhaps within the next three months," a spokesperson for the Mumbai-based bank tells CardLine Global. The platinum card would target high-earners, while the corporate card would go to senior executives. The bank already issues gold and classic cards. The bank issues MasterCard- and Visa-branded debit and credit cards. Punjab has some 35 million customers.
