Ingenico S.A. today announced it has won a $19.5 million (13 million euros) contract to supply 37,000 point-of-sale terminals to HSBC Merchant Services over the next four years. Ingenico also will provide on-site installation services, merchant training for new and replacement POS devices, and customer support. Atlanta-based Global Payments Inc. owns HSBC Merchant Services. The two companies have worked together since the late 1980s, Ingenico says.
