Intuit's Mint personal financial management site has rebranded
Mint's service lets consumers view transactions from multiple bank accounts on one screen, but until the addition of Check it did not allow the movement of money. By contrast, the Check app made payments its central feature.
"Mint has historically served as a rear-view mirror for personal finances, providing consumers a look back at their money," said Barry Saik, senior vice president and general manager of Intuits consumer ecosystem group, in a Dec. 16 press release. Today, were taking a more forward-looking approach, helping people to anticipate and accomplish must-do financial tasks, such as paying bills, so they can feel confident and in control of their money."
Under its new branding, the Mint Bills app has been redesigned to simplify registration and the addition of new bill categories. The app runs on Apple and Android smartphones and tablets.
