IP Commerce Inc. will use Retail Decision Ltd.’s fraud-prevention service to help small merchants and application developers combat card-not-present fraud, the London-based card-fraud prevention and payment-processing company announced March 22.
The Denver-based open-payments platform provider will offer its clients Retail Decisions’ ReDShield fraud-prevention system, which will enable them to track and detect fraudulent transactions immediately, Retail Decisions said in a news release about the partnership.
ReDShield works by constantly monitoring and analyzing card activity using neural technology called Red Prism, which automatically detects fraud patterns, Retail Decisions said. Merchants also may use the service to check past transactions and analyze fraud drivers.
