The Electronic Payments Practice Group of Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C. has launched a legal and business blog called ElectronicPaymentsLaw.com.

Jaffe partners and attorneys who plan to contribute to the blog include Holli Targan, Jill Miller, Sarah Weston, Heather Maldegen-Long, Joel Alam, Eric Linden and Andrew Hayner.

Theyll examine legal challenges and business opportunities, while providing insight into legal and regulatory developments, business trends and mobile payments, a press release from the Southfield, Mich.-based law firm said.

ElectronicPaymentsLaw.com is an ideal forum to stay connected with our click-of-a-button society, Targan, the firms Electronic Payments Group chairperson, said in the release. This area of law is impacted by each technological advancement, which is occurring at a dizzying pace, and our blog provides informed viewpoints and clarity to the payments community.

Targan, one of the founders of Womens Network in Electronic Transactions, or W.net, serves as president-elect of the Electronic Transactions Association
