The service, which will use Near Field Communication technology, integrates C-SAM's mobile transaction platform, MasterCard PayPass' contactless payments product and DNP's scalable mobile wallet.  The companies did not disclose a launch date.

The wallet can combine multiple products, such as loyalty cards and coupons, and merchants can offer discount programs and deals tailored to specific consumers based on their purchasing history. DNP will provide technical support for the IT infrastructure, customer mobile wallet development services and support for PayPass.

C-SAM and MasterCard previously launched a mobile wallet in Singapore with StarHub, DBS Bank and EZ-Link. MasterCard has also teamed with C-SAM to offer a mobile wallet in Australia.

C-SAM, DNP and HyperSoft also launched a mobile wallet for salons in Japan this year.
