Metrobank Card Corp. in the Philippines has signed an agreement to license the latest version of Total System Services' (TSYS) payment processing platform.
Metrobank Card Corp., a joint venture of Metrobank Australia New Zealand Bank, will use TSYS' Prime 4 platform to manage its credit and commercial card portfolios and to launch new payment products.
"With Prime's inherent flexibility and user-empowerment capabilities including Web-based services, we will be excellently positioned to accelerate our speed-to-market in launching new card products and creating greater customer value through flexible payment options and innovative services for the Philippines market," said Riko Abdurrahman, president of Metrobank Card Corp., in an August 6 press release.
