Aeromexico operator Airways of Mexico SA de CV plans to CyberSource Corp.’s fraud-management software, the Visa Inc. subsidiary announced Feb. 8. The Mexican airline will use CyberSource’s technology to protect its card-not-present ticketing transactions at its call centers and website.
Airways of Mexico chose CyberSource because “healthy business growth has a way of attracting fraud,” Ricardo Sanchez Baker, Airways of Mexico chief financial officer, said in a press release.
CyberSource provides similar services to 36 airlines globally. Visa bought CyberSource in July in a $2 billion cash deal (
