MoneyGram International has hired Aaron Henry as associate general counsel, global regulatory and chief privacy officer and senior vice president, the company announced March 21.
Henry worked for 12 years at Western Union and most recently was its assistant general counsel for money transfer, money order, prepaid and stored value, Internet money transfer, new products, and marketing for the Americas. He also worked on data protection, privacy and security issues.
“The money-services industry is highly regulated, and I am confident that Aaron’s in-depth industry experience and his specific knowledge of the regulatory landscape in key countries will help ensure that MoneyGram is well positioned as we expand our global operations,” Tim Everett, MoneyGram executive vice president and general counsel, said in a press release.
