Battle Creek, Mich.-based OMNI Community Credit Union is paying its third consecutive Cashback Rebate – an estimated $800,000 this year – as a way to say “thank you” to its members for banking with the credit union.
OMNI’s Cashback Rebate is based upon members’ total relationship, including credit and debit cards; The more balances they have with OMNI the more their share of the rebate will be. Some members will receive thousands of dollars, the credit union said. Qualifying products include: credit cards, auto loans, home equity loans, mortgages, savings accounts, money market accounts, checking accounts, certificates of deposit, non-investment IRA, and business savings and checking balances.
Since 2008, the $250 million credit union has given back $2.2 million to its 33,000 members across southwest Michigan.
