Onebip, a mobile bill payment company owned by Neomobile, launched an IP billing system in Turkey, allowing consumers to pay for online purchases through their broadband bill.
Onebip, which was founded in 2005, is working with the largest broadband provider in Turkey, TTNET, to bring its billing option to 17 million consumers.
"With 7 million Turkish broadband lines active on the Onebip service combined with our local expertise and optimized billing technology, this new IP billing product is a great opportunity for our partners to maximize their revenue in the Turkish market," says Massimiliano Silenzi, head of Onebip, in a July 26 press release. "Our aim is to continue to provide our partners with the most advanced billing technology and the best user experience ensuring a seamless payments service on any device, operating system and connection type whether it's Wi-Fi, 3G or GPRS."
Onebip also works with over 250 carriers to allow users to have purchases applied to their phone bills.
