Optimal Payments Registers with N.J. Division of Gaming Enforcement

Optimal Payments Plc, which is based in Isle of Man, has registered with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to provide services to Internet gambling businesses licensed by New Jersey.

"We are excited to be an approved vendor in New Jersey and we look forward to leveraging our vast experience and expertise to help facilitate online payments for our partners in New Jersey," says Joel Leonoff, president and CEO of Optimal Payments, in an Oct. 28 press release.

Optimal has been pushing to expand its U.S. presence in recent years. Its moves include a 2012 partnership with the Cincinnati-based processor Vantiv to provide online gateway services to U.S. merchants. Optimal also signed a five-year agreement with MasterCard last year to support Optimal's Net+ prepaid card, which complements the Neteller e-wallet it offers in the U.K.
