The payments platform now works with such accounting software as Intuit Inc.’s QuickBooks and or Sage Group PLC’s Peachtree, the company noted in a press release. ISOs may offer the integrated system to merchants at a retail price as low as $14.99 per month, PayCommerce said.

Integrating payments and business functions through multiple servers, commonly referred to as “the cloud,” received attention at the Electronic Transaction Association’s Annual Meeting & Expo last week in San Diego.

The payments platform, which complies with Payment Card Industry data-security standards, also now offers a single source for customer billing and payment, and access to multiple processors and payment types, fraud-management and security services, the vendor said.

“PayCommerce wants to make enterprise-class electronic payments available to businesses of any size,” Abdul Naushad, company CEO, said in a press release. “By working with ISOs and other resellers, we’ll be able to reach large numbers of subscribers for cloud-based payment services and generate a network effect that will drive referrals from each customer they sign up.”
