Payveris Hires a New President to Drive Diversification Strategy

Payveris has hired financial services technology veteran Jeff Weikert as president, as the technology company adds new services designed to make smaller financial institutions more competitive with alternative startups.

Weikert has spent 30 years in the financial services and technology fields, having worked for Deloitte & Touche, Bank of America, and SunTrust, amongst others.  Payveris' clients include community banks, credit unions and prepaid card issuers.

Payveris founder Fran Duggan will move into a chief operating officer position to make room for Weikert.

Weikert joins Paveris as it broadens its range of services Payveris announced a merchant solutions division in August that is designed to connect its client base to emerging digital payments technology.  

Payveris has also partnered with personal financial management company Geezeo to add budgeting and other money management tools to payments.
