European mobile point of sale gateway provider payworks will offer its service through Miura Systems' EMV and Near Field Communication mobile terminals.
Targeting payment providers, Munich-based payworks said it views the relationship with Miura as a way to deliver more white-label mPOS systems to European and U.S. markets.
Miura has deployed nearly 1 million mPOS devices in more than 40 countries, payworks stated in an Aug. 27 press release.
The combination of the payworks gateway and the Miura Systems hardware will appeal to any merchant or service business developing an integrated point of sale system, Christian Deger, co-founder and CEO of payworks, said in the release.
"As an end-to-end solution, Miura's devices and payworks payment infrastructure can ensure both POS excellence and a maximum of speed and flexibility," Deger added.
Payworks clients already using Miura devices include ConCardis, SIX Payment Services and Orderbird.
The payworks gateway also accepts NFC-based payments from mobile wallets such as Apple Pay. It has received contactless certifications for Visa payWave and MasterCard PayPass on Miura devices.
Payworks also provides white-label mobile software development kits for acquirers working with third-party integrators.
