The module, which enables MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit and debit transactions, also offers recurring billing for subscription-based billing cycles. Payza hosts the system and delivers it as a Web service that includes functions such as reporting and security. The module is currently used outside the U.S. by more than 75,000 merchants.

"Payza Merchant Gateway users are now able to accept credit and debit card payments without the hassle of managing multiple accounts at multiple institutions," says Ali Nizameddine, Payza's executive vice president of product and technology, in a Feb. 19 press release.

Payza's technology can integrate with shopping cart programs such as ZenCart, OSCommerce, WHMC and OpenCart. Consumer usernames and passwords are stored at account creation, which enables faster checkout, according to Payza. Payza's other services include risk management, dispute resolution, currency exchange, global payouts and disbursement services.
