Peoples Bank of Alabama is launching 30 of NCR Corp.'s SelfServ ATMs that use scalable deposit-module technology, which enables customers to deposit checks and cash at the same time through a single slot.
This technology will make ATM deposits faster and easier for customers, NCR said in a Dec. 12 press release.
The $496 million-asset bank based in Cullman, Ala., also will run other NCR software, including NCR Aptra Passport, across its ATM network. This technology integrates a deployer’s ATM deposits with its item-processing provider for review and validation. This will decrease Peoples Bank of Alabama’s back-office costs for processing these transactions and make transactional information available almost immediately for review, NCR said.
