Revel Opens a London Office to Fuel European Expansion

Revel Systems has opened a new office in London to facilitate its growing business in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

The new office will operate as a central hub for those markets, while also setting the stage to accelerate sales of its iPad- and cloud-based point of sale system in the U.K.

San Francisco-based Revel also has an office in Italy and plans to add offices in France and Germany in 2016.

“Our goal is to set the highest standard for customer service for point of sale in the EMEA market and our London-based team will be instrumental in helping us deliver on that to merchants throughout the region,” Lisa Falzone, co-founder and CEO of Revel Systems, said in a Dec. 22 press release.

Point of sale represents the "nervous system of today’s modern business" and Revel views the new London office as a way to convert more merchants to its cloud-based system, Falzone added. The London office currently employs six sales representatives and customer success managers. Revel plans to have a headcount of 14 employees in London by the end of the year.

Revel has deployed more than 20,000 iPad terminals globally in restaurants, retail locations, stadiums and grocery stores, the company says.

In the past few months, Revel has also been building its U.S. base and helping merchants prepare for migration to EMV chip cards, landing a deal to equip Cinnabon bakeries with its hardware.
